Canvas Zone was established in 2007 to fill the need for a locally placed canvas goods manufacturing company.  At that stage virtually all tentage was being imported from South Africa. Canvas Zone is a majority citizen owned company, fully domiciled in Botswana and has grown significantly in the past 14 years.

Canvas Zone is managed and run by Hendrick B. Friday who is currently leading a team of 9 canvas tailors and our pattern cutter.  Nchilili “Chilly” Lebakeng heads up the interiors department with a group of 4 seamstresses and a full time upholsterer.

Canvas Zone specializes in the manufacture of custom tent-age, ranging from smaller bow tents, through to the classic Meru tent range as well as client specific custom tent design and manufacture. We also make canvas panels and blinds for ready made structures.
