Meet the Team
Nature Zone is a majority citizen owned company with three directors. It is fully domiciled in Botswana and has a strong ethos of local empowerment, with many of our staff having been with us since our early projects. Our staff have risen from unskilled labour to being adept artisans in the carpentry, plumbing, textile and electrical trades, foremen and directors. The staff all have a shared incentive in remaining committed and professional to both their work and our clients.
Trevor is the founder of Nature Zone and he comes with years of experience working and managing lodges in South Africa and Botswana. Trevor was involved in project management and the building of some of the lodges he worked and managed, developing his passion for design and practicality. He has been building lodges in Botswana since 2002.
Philip, originally from the Cape, has been with Nature Zone since 2013 and brings years of construction experience with him. Passionate about nature and with a strong belief in quality, Philip heads up our on-site construction work.
Starr is the Manager at Nature Zone, bringing with her many years of experience running her own business. Having recently sold her culinary school, she joins the company with a strong entrepreneurial background. Starr is deeply passionate about people, family, and the value of working collaboratively within a team.
