Nature Zone has over the years done significant lodge building and construction work with various safari companies in Botswana: Wilderness Safaris, Great Plains, Desert & Delta Safaris, Ker & Downey Botswana, Kwando Safaris, Kalahari Tours and Safaris amongst numerous others.
Nature Zone has as a core belief that all developments, especially those in ecologically sensitive areas, need to be designed to have as light a footprint as possible on the environment and to blend seamlessly into that landscape rather than trying to dominate it.
To this end we have specialised in the utilisation of “non-permanent” materials, in keeping with the Botswana Government’s directive that developments in wildlife areas should be of a non-permanent nature. We predominantly use gum-poles, timber, thatch and canvas for our developments. All our materials are sustainably grown and manufactured and are of the highest quality.
